🏈 How well do we match up against Texas?

I think we can run the ball on 'em, they look very beatable to me. If Nebraska had any offense at all last night we'd be playing somebody else in Pasadena.

I think we match up very well especially after looking at NU's D last night. Their D looked like a SEC D. Well, since they have Bo I guess it would. We still have to beat them, but I think we have more weapons than they do.

I think we match up pretty well. I def. think we can run the ball on them. Defensively I think we can shut down their run which was nonexistent against Nebraska. And when we do that when can really throw alot of things at McCoy. My only thing is how well does Muschamp know Saban's defenses and what can he tell Texas' offense to give them an advantage there, if any. I def. dont see us walking all over Texas like some are suggesting at this point but I def. think we should win it.

We can't let down! We have to play with the same intensity and desire that we showed against Florida. McCoy is a running and passing QB who can extend drives. His favorite target is Shipley. Control those two and stuff the running game as usual, then we should be ok.

But we can't let down!!!

QFT just becuase TEXAS had a let down game (Auburn anyone remember that game for us?) does not mean we are going to go in and roll them! They're a good team and it should be a great match up. Although I will say that NEB tackle is one hell of a football player! Wow what a stud!

Stats say:
Bama should rush for 139 yards, pass for 193, and score 23 points.
Texas should rush for 115 yards, pass for 222, and score 26 points.

But they don't play them on paper. Bama wins 30-20!

Nebraska had played like the Giants againt the Pats. They got tons of pressure from their front 4 and doubled up on the wr a bunch. If we can get consistent pressure our of our 3 or 4 rushers, i think we have a shot at dominating the game. If Colt has time to throw, he is very dangerous. And if we blitz, he seems to have a good sense of where to go with the ball. This should be a great National championship game!!!

There is not a single aspect of these teams that I would trade for this game. Not one postion, not one player. Not Coaches or assistants. Not Uniforms, Cheerleaders, Fight Songs, Marching Bands, Pre-Game Introduction videos, Mascots, Fan Bases, Campuses, tradtitions, Rankings, Heisman Trophy candidates, Defenses, Offenses, or Special Teams. Not Play-by-play announces, equipment trucks, Strength and Conditoning programs, or bowl records.

In a game of Red Rover, I'd call out "Red Rover, Red Rover I'll keep what I'ver got, and WE'LL be over in a second to kick some tail."
