📝 How to kill your recruitment in a matter of seconds at a 7 on 7 camp? Well, likely not. I'd move on as a coach.

Yeah, that's not football. I hate all that hootin and hollering bullcrap at these seven on seven, Rivals camps, and Nike camps. And it's usually a dumbass assistant coach getting it started and in the middle of it. One of our coaches spoke out against this garbage last week I believe
Let's put ole boy up against Jadon Hasselwood or Theo Wease and see if he does that, not just some average talent undersized kid. Let's post that on social media.

I have no clue what is going through some of these kids heads at these camps and off season workouts. Just saw a kid this afternoon at an OTA hitting receivers out of bounds (and knocking them down) MULTIPLE times before his coach finally sat him down.

Reminds me of the camp, where Richard Lecount, drove Devonta Smith out of bounds and over a bench. Smith made sure to remind the jawja DB about it after the Championship Game

I hadn't heard that story. While LeCount III was watching from the sideline, Smith showed him up when it actually mattered. Thanks for sharing that.

And seems forgotten....
Or maybe a figment of my memory....
Wasnt it Devonta tha caught the winning TD vs MSU?

Yep. From ESPN:

STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Mississippi State brought the all-out blitz. Alabama's Jalen Hurts never flinched.
Throwing two perfect passes with less than a minute remaining, the sophomore quarterback carved through Mississippi State's defense and helped deliver a precarious victory for the top-ranked Crimson Tide on Saturday night.
Hurts hit DeVonta Smith for a 26-yard touchdown pass with 25 seconds remaining to lift Alabama over No. 18 Mississippi State 31-24 and save the Tide's undefeated season. On the play before the touchdown -- and facing a 3rd-and-15 -- Hurts found Calvin Ridley over the middle for a 31-yard gain, just a split-second before Mississippi State's defense crushed the pocket.
