And what I mean by that, is like players, coaches, and recruits who may casually visit the site to see what the fan chatter is on the program at the moment.

Coaches pay attention somewhat, actually made evident by Phillip Fulmer when he mentioned volnation.

I also imagine that the curiosity of some players would lead them to sites like these.

I hope when they come here, it reflects on the good nature of the fan base, and football intelligence of some of its fans. I feel that the general chatter on a message board is a good way to get a feeling on your fanbase. Thinking in that way, I would imagine that players, recruits, and coaches would generally understand that we are happy with the direction of the program when browsing here.

Hopefully this forum continues on as a good representation of the fan base.

I'm also interested in what other people think of members of the Alabama program possibly reading what you say on here.

I've met quite a few parents, coaches and players through 'Bama web sites over the decade (plus) I've been involved with message forums.

It's one of the reasons you won't find a lot of sites allowing pure player bashing.

But, at the same time, you do have to realize these people have a sense of humor as well. Not only to they get a kick out of things rival fans post but also get a good laugh out of things people post about the thoughts they have on the program, the team, etc.

While this site isn't one of the larger ones, you'd be shocked at the reach. I keep a fairly close eye on the traffic the site gets...interesting stuff.

Just as an example, we've had fans from over 25 countries visit this month alone.

Over 60% of the visitors still use IE. That's quite a difference between normal Internet surfers because IE just recently dropped below 90%.

This site has been linked to an LSU forum more than any other rival this month.

To say the least...I find it interesting stuff.

Neat stuff, with the increase in popularity in social networking I have always wondered about these things.

I also would hope they have a good sense of humor. I recognize that most here do as well.
