If LSU had not played, then Clemson still may not have won. I think personally that Clemson vs Oklahoma would have been a closer game for sure but who would have went instead of LSU? Georgia probably.

People in that thread thought the same thing I did. Didn't Ford get into a little trouble back in the early 80's with the NCAA and that eventually landed him on his farm in Clemson?

I think it's a given that Clemson would need to give one back if we are going this route.

We could play what-ifs with every NC (Clemson's pick play, etc.). Only case to make, if it eventuates, is for LSU to vacate with no NC named. I'd love to see them have to scrub that off every corner of that stadium.

That was some great team but the 2020 bama team was better
