A H/T to Vandy this weekend for how they're honoring the Veterans.

Very commendable, but they're kinda missing the boat with the whole fallen soldiers thing. While those in uniform that paid the Ultimate Sactifice should ALWAYS be on our hearts and minds every day, this weekend is observed specifically for Veterans, those that have been fortunate enough to have NOT fallen while serving.

And I know that seems a little semantical and makes me sound like a hair-splitting douche, but maybe they should have included the names of Wounded Warriors instead?

Not me I always during Veterans Day, the ones that came back or like me, Memorial Day, the ones that didn't come back, and even the 4th of July. This one we celebrate our Independent. I post on my Facebook account the different of each! Here is what I post

I only did 4 years in the Air Force, 1984-1988. But I still have the respect and values instilled in me by military service. My dad did 32 years in the Navy, my 4 brothers also served. Thanks to all who serve now and before
