Got a text from a friend on campus saying this. He's usually pretty good with info. Said it's a pretty big injury, but he was still going to play. That doesn't make since to me, but I figured I'd ask here to see.

I'll believe it if I hear about it from a more credible source. He didn't have any injuries in the practice reports....so unless something happened to him last night then this is total :bs:

Yes a big injury, a big injury and he's still going to play...that's why I'm asking. The guy that told me goes to school at Bama. He usually is pretty accurate with his info. I knew the details to the BD shooting ordeal before they were released because of him. This site has a lot of insiders it appears so I figured I'd throw it out there to see.

yea yall were sh*ttin on ole dude. good stuff jashley. i just really hope Javy's isnt too serious, he looked to be in tears at the start of the game. but for those that are thining it's a discipline thing, stop, Eli made sure to say that it was NOT academic or disciplinary it was an injury.

Saban said it was a rib injury. Happened Thursday at practice, and it started acting up before the game. Saban said he should be back soon.
