I agree there have been plenty of questionable calls. No doubt. That said, there were plenty of open WRs that were either overthrown or had passed dropped. We hit just one of those overthrows, or two of those dropped balls, and Bama never would have trailed that game. It sure wasn't playcalling that caused the 3rd and goal at the one debaucle.
