The Crimson Tide also had nine defensive backs in the NFL at the end of last season, more than any other college, according to an NFL roster database compiled by The Detroit News.

Seven of the top 10 defensive back-producing colleges, based on 2015 NFL rosters, are in the South. After Alabama, Florida and Ohio State tied for second with eight each. Next were Auburn, Clemson, Texas and Oregon with seven each, then Florida State, Virginia Tech and Kansas with six apiece.

Unless Marlon wins the Thorpe Award and is an unquestionable top 10 pick I think he'll stick around another year even if for no other reason than to get his degree.
