🏈 Greg Hardy?

Has anyone heard from this guy this year. I know in the years past, he has been a terror to everyone. But I haven't heard much from his play this year. I know he had a foot problem and sat out a game. Is that still an issue?

He played last weekend. Two tackles, both behind the LOS. One TFL and one sack.

He's played in all but one game this year. Five tackles on the season, all five were behind the LOS—two of those were sacks.

Ole Miss' defense is strongest up the middle with Powe backed by their two linebackers, Trahan and Cornell followed closely by Walker.

I suspect we'll be pulling a lot or running behind our H-backs and TE's. It's going to boil down to getting a helmet on their linebacking corps blocking for our running game to have some success.

Agreed Terry. Hardy could be a force if he played every snap all out. He has a "bad" habit of taking plays off as noticed in his stats.

"Taking plays off?" Heck, taking quarters off...taking halves off...

He's a great rush end. No doubt. I don't know what his deal is...attitude, mental toughness, just not willing to give it all...I don't know.

Whatever it is...I'm not a fan of it.

I'm no fan either. I should have said taking more than plays off. There is no way a team runs away from a player 98% of the time they are on the field. I can see a DBs PBU stats being low if he is a lock down corner but not a DE.

I read on a Rebel message board that they like to rotate a lot of the d-line. So him not being a all down player probably works out best. THey hold him alot to 3rd down and passing situations. He has a nitch dug out for him in the NFL as a pass rush specialist, if he changes that attitude.

I'm sure the staff will have somethign in place for him, but he still scares me.
