Context: I found I'd been charged twice on my MC for car insurance. Not a big deal. Their site was screwing up on uploads, still charged my card, and I called the office the next morning (not knowing it had been charged) and paid it "again."
So, I looked at the account a few minutes ago to see if they'd credited the amount back. Yes, last Saturday. That was cool. But then I noticed something else (I've thought about mentioning this.)
I realized I'd ran out of milk the other day. I ran up to Family Dollar, bought a gallon. Now, the same day I went to the 7-11 to grab some beer. I get cash back on groceries, but didn't on the milk that day. But, continually, I get cash back from the 7-11 on beer because it goes through as a gas purchase. Hell, bought cigs; cash back. Now I'm wondering if I'm getting the same deal on my Discover or Visa. Which one has the most cash back for beer?
