šŸˆ Glen Coffee Update

ā€œI got to high school, and I played because my friends played, and then when I realized that I was good enough for college, at that point it was to get school paid for,ā€ Coffee said. ā€œAnd I still had a year left to play at ’Bama, but I didn’t come back because I didn’t want to play football anymore. So I figured if I got paid to play football, I would tolerate it. So I got to the NFL and I got the money, and it was mo’ money, mo’ problems, pretty much. And I found out it wasn’t for me.ā€

Not many people, who play football that well, have their priorities in order. This guy does, even though he is still uncertain about his future. Kudos to Glen!

ā€œMy cardio and endurance is definitely a lot better right now,ā€ Coffee said. ā€œBecause in football, you’re not really in shape. People think you’re in shape, but you’re really not. Not like that.ā€

Very true, but it doesn't take long to adjust. They are still top tier athletes. Pat Tillman failed his initial physical fitness test (failed situps and 2 mile run) when he attended the ranger assessment and selection program (of course it was the Ranger Indoctrination Program at the time)

I went to high school with Glen at FWB played ball with him, I played pee wee ball with DJ Hall, the Seminoles at jet stadium in FWB. Our peewee team had 2 plays, sweep left to DJ sweep right to DJ. Worked 99% of the time.
