The University of Georgia has unveiled two new jerseys for the 2020 season in honor of both the 1980 national champions and an update to the black jersey that have long been called for by Georgia fans.

the 2020 season is the 40 year anniversary of the 1980-1981 national championship team and Georgia now has a throwback jersey to the white jerseys worn during that 1980 season with a "40" year patch on the right shoulder and new red pants to go along with the white jersey.

The black jerseys have been updated as well with a a collar of shorts going around the top of the jersey near the neck.

Zamir White, Mark Webb and Prather Hudson were the players seen in the video displaying the three new uniform combinations.

The seniors for that NC team in '80 for UGA will start collecting their social security checks next year. Yes, it's been that long.

I think the dog spikes is a little cheesy, but those uniforms, black and white are pretty good looking. I like the numbers much better than the kindergarten bubble numbers they currently use.

Red is my favorite color, so unless you're the Falcons trying to be Texas Tech and color rush at the same time, I'm going to like red uniforms.

You remember he wore it as well in 1983 in Staying Alive .....

To hell with Georgiee... for the most the coaches at that place have done less with more than any school in the Southeast. Vince learned well while at Auburn that every 2-3 years is good enough to have a great season.

Alabama could do some incredible 1-game only anniversary throwbacks based off our uniforms of yesteryear, but unfortunately they likely never will as many fans would raise hell because... "tradishun, Pawl!!!"

1941 and 1952 really aren't any different than today (except for the long sleeves). I've always liked the 1930 jerseys but putting legal numbers on would destroy the look.

Gold pants, white helmet, etc... Plenty there to work with. There is stuff that could be done with the 1930's look that would be very sharp for a 1 game deal, IMO. They could make Big Al wear that scary ass Big Al 1.0 costume too just for the hell of it.
