Where to start? It's confusing on more than one level.

Why would UGA save Florida the buyout considering there was a lot of smoke surrounding White being on his way out?

Why would White move down in the quality of a program? He could have done better in my opinion.

Why would White want to move to a school so far behind in facilities?

From UGA's perspective his resume looks good. From an outsiders perspective it's not a lot different from Crean's.

I agree it makes no sense unless the AD has some relationship with White. GA basketball has been down for many years.

Yeah this is one of those White saw the writing on the wall at Florida and UGA had to do something after Crean's disastrous regime. Both can buy some time but in the end they both will be back here in 4 or 5 years.
