Right is right and wrong is wrong. There is no gray area if he was driving drunk, especially if this is his second DUI. I wish him well and hope he can get his problem with alcohol under control.

2nd DUI I believe. The first one came in 2013. Seems cut and dried to me. Saban has already dealt with a DUI before. It will be interesting to see what route he takes with Geno this time. Does he suspend him indefinitely? Does he suspend him X number of games? Or does he kick him off? Only two people know the answer and none of them are on here.

We really needed his experience as a senior. But if this is his second DUI, it is time to let him go. The first time was an opportunity to learn from a dumb mistake. The second time was a failure to change his thinking and behavior, a critical issue with someone possessing his talent. It will hurt the team, but he should be sent packing.

With this coming hours before someone we gave a second chance to getting arrested for (Jonathan Taylor for domestic violence again after UGA dropped him and we gave him a chance) I am not sure Saban is going to be in a generous mood.

His 1st DUI was more about him being under the drinking age vs being legally impaired. If I remember correctly, he blew a .02 back in 2013.

People usually go to jail for two DUI's in this amount of time. I just can't see any sympathy being given.

As someone who lost a family member to a drunk driver, I truly believe driving while impaired is one of the most selfish, idiotic things a person can do. You are not only putting yourself in danger, but others as well. The driver who killed my cousin also killed 3 other passengers in the car. 4 families torn apart forever because one guy did not know his limits and when to call a cab/find a DD.
