I was at the Bama---Florida Atlantic game yesterday (sweating like a hog in sub-Saharan Africa). First time I have witnessed a Bama game that ended before all four quarters were finished.

What if Bama had been playing Auburn, and it was a seven-point game with 7:53 left? And what if the rain was so bad there was no way to finish the game that day? Would they replay the whole game later, or just pick up where they left off?

As long as there was no lightning in the immediate area, they would play in the rain. From what RollTide.com said booth AD's have to agree to cancel the game. That would never happen against a SEC team or a ranked opponent in the scenario you mentioned. jmo.

A side note: I heard one of the SiriusXM college "experts" say "the Bama - FAU game was so lopsided even God didn't want it to continue."

The only thing that didn't happen that would have is that Bama would have gotten a few more kids in the game. The game was so far out of reach that those kids could have played earlier in the contest. I understand why Coker was left in so long. Thankfully, no one had a serious injury like Brodie Croyle did a few years ago. IMO, play the regulars until half and then work in the other players. FA was not going to make up that large of a deficit.
