🏈 GAME THREAD: SEC/NCAA—Week 8

I'll admit, I'm not inclined to thinking about you guys personal well-being on Game day. But, today is somewhat of an exception.

I'll caution you NOT to watch ESPN's GameDay if you want to avoid any type of nausea—far too much Notre Dame to start and capping that with Winston, Winston, and then a little more Winston?

No. Thank. You.

SECN has:

SEC Film Room at 8:30,
SEC Nation at 9:00.

ESPN Radio has Dari and Mel (live now) up until SEC Nation starts and it's pretty damn good radio despite Kiper.

They called that?

They called that?

They overturned that?

And I've only been watching Baylor vs WVU for a little under 10 minutes.

I'm open to any arguments explaining how Baylor looks like a top 10 team, FWIW.

(No complaints about the scores in the Big12 games...loved the over/unders this week.)

WVU WR White has 1,020 receiving yards in 7 games after today's 132.

Baylor's penalties, 18 for 185 yds & WVU was 14 for 138 yds. Ugly game.

Baylor's 3 most-penalized games since 2000 have come in its last 10 games played. The team's 18 penalties surpassed the most the school had over that span, which came in its Fiesta Bowl loss to Central Florida to cap last season. The 18 penalties was also just 1 shy of the school record of 19 set in 1998 at Oregon State. And the Bears' 185 penalty yards today shattered the school record of 157 set at Rice in 1976.
