If you're a REAL sports nut, you look at numbers and statistics with a grain of salt. Many times they don't tell the whole story or slant it one way or the other. But some stats do tell a story. This article is for sports people who think. It's maybe a little tedious, presumptive and overstates what most already know, but it shows WHY the offense at Tuscaloosa this year is going to skew our normal stats like never before...

To quote AJ McCarron, "Our goal is to score on every possession we have the ball." Now that of course has never been done, but this team may come closer than most ever have... It explains why they won't just be good, but downright scary good...

There is much reason to beleive this article is right on the money and I agree with its merit, however I had that same feeling about the 2010 offense, returning a Heisman winner, Trent Richardson, Senior Q-back, Julio, and a line with some rebuilding to do. I dont feel we are much closer to being the offensive juggernaut this article describes and I have all hopes it will be, I always like to keep one foot on the ground and Im sure many of you felt the same way I did going into the 2010 season, but this year just feels different, it possible we could light it up more than ever before

I got a video of an interview with AJ after that season at the Capitol One Bowl in Orlando... He said that team got lazy and didn't do the little things they had done the year before, sort of saying that they sat on their laurels.... He said he would never allow this team to that once he was the QB... He practically runs the 7 on 7 camps and his timing is flawless with most of the receivers... He and Kenny Bell swear they have a "psychic connection" and the news I'm getting out of summer sessions is that Chris Black is not only back 100%, but COULD be a threat just like Amari Cooper, IF NOT BETTER.... It's hard to contain my excitement over what could transpire this fall... If they can control penalties, this is an offense that has the mindset that they can and will score on every possession.... Time will tell,,, I can't wait to see...

More returning starters on defense also. CJ Mosley, Depriest, Ha-Ha, Sunseri, and Hubbard. That's not counting the players who rotated in and got significant playing time either.

Also, that 2010 offensive line had injury issues.

Forgetting Stinson & Belue too. Xzavier Dickson saw starts last year as well.
