🏈 Friday's random thoughts on LSU - short, but to the point. What are yours?

^^ They wont play like that again, imo. We're gonna get their best shot, period. Lets be real if LSU played Auburn 10 times, 9 times they'd beat em by 30. It will be a dog fight for the majority of the game but I DO think we pull ahead late, maybe even double digits. We need to come out firing and set the tempo immediately, drain the life out of the stadium which has been our calling card on the road this year.

Bama has lost 5 SEC games in 5 years. Each loss was to a team with a QB with positive rushing yards. Zach Mettenberger has never had positive rushing yards against an SEC team.

34-13 Bama!

Since Week 2 of the 1993 season, LSU has been shut out three times in 244 games. All 3 came at the hands of Alabama in Baton Rouge (and New Orleans) at night

11/09/1996 - Alabama 26, LSU 0
11/16/2002 - Alabama 31, LSU 0
01/09/2012 - Alabama 21, LSU 0

Since Week 2 of the 1993 season, LSU has been shut out three times in 244 games. All three of those blankings came at the hands of Alabama, took place in the state of Louisiana, and occurred at night. The Tide shut out the Tigers 26-0 in 1996 and 31-0 in 2002, both in Baton Rouge. The third shutout came in the 2012 BCS Championship Game, 21-0 in New Orleans. Dating back to 1975, LSU has been shut out nine times. Seven of those have been in the state of Louisiana (six in Baton Rouge) and four have come at the hands of Alabama.
