The recruiting approach by UA versus the one by LSU couldn't be more stark in contrast. Both really have their upside—it just depends on what he's looking for.
With LSU they've lost three running backs since last season—two to the draft and one is anticipated to be lost due to legal issues. It was a legitimate five-headed monster last year with Blue getting the fewest carries with 40. He returns, along with Hilliard, for the 2013 season. Copeland returns but he's more of a fullback in my eyes.
So, with LSU, if they want to "advertise" he's going to be the "big man on campus" with a lot of carries early and often it's there.
(I've also heard there's a relationship {Godfather?} with their RB coach.)
At Bama, it's not a situation where he's going to be that BMOC. However, with the lack of longevity in the NFL for the running back position that can be used as a plus. We can offer him the chance of being a 1st rounder with evidence to prove the case. Coupled with that is the ability to sell "less carries in college means healthier body in the NFL."
I suspect he's LSU bound. No matter where he lands he looks like he's going to be a fun player to watch.
