Thx for the pictures. It seems so many of our legends are passing away. Pretty soon there won't be many left from the Coach Bryant days. It's sad, but time does move on.

Mr. Gryska will be missed by many in crimson.

Coach Gryska was always that welcomed face in the football building during my time there. I used to always ask him for stories about Coach Bryant. A great man that will be sorely missed. Rest In Peace.

When Doe's brother worked at the museum he was nice enough to take my wife and me in the back to meet him. A true gentleman and had some great stories. Best one I heard was him talking to a Tennessee alum. The UT alum looked at his ring and asked what it was from. Coach Gryska told him a national championship at UA. UT guy was impressed and asked what year. Coach Gryska replied, I'm not sure I will have to look. UT alum, you have a MNC ring and don't know what year????? Coach Gryska replied, "Well I have 6 of them". :lemo:

I was blessed to live in the same neighborhood with him for a short while. He was a gentleman and one of the good things about that neighborhood. He was Good People.
