🏈 For chits and giggles, what do you think will be the most posted comment following A-day?

Based on what I've seen around town, there are twice as many Crimson fans attending the game than White fans. At least it's that way in my hotel.

Close second...I'd like to know the White fan who gave up their seats to Crimson fans.

.....that was a boring 2 hours....
Are we really going to throw on every down in the fall?
Really...archabalds better then Dreamland...Really!
Glad they finished the extra 3 lanes into ttown...o wait...they stopped 5 miles short ofMcFarland exit..what the f@@k...
Who was that hot old chick with 50+....was she really in Playboy 40 years ago?....damn..(my favorite)
Did Ms Terry reallly pick out ugly suit Nick wore...
Will the Bama Flea Market around the stadium ever stop?

1. The RB's will be used much more in the passing game - Jacobs will be legit weapon.

2. Najee Harris is amazing, and Brian Robinson is close behind

3. D. Hand and Buggs live in the backfield

4. Rob Foster is back

5. The D Backfield needs work - Particularly the 2's

Runner up: Anfernee Jennings impresses, Christian Miller gets a few sacks, and Miller Foristall catches a TD

it's supposed to be, it's basically a scrimmage/practice. you won't see anything new or exciting. you don't show your hand before the season, even during a spring game. it's been that way for a long time and won't change. i've always looked at the spring game as a way for coaches to evaluate the players on their assignments and how well they do in a semi-game-type setting.

you already know the answer to this one.

why in the holy crap would you even try to drive down mcfarland?! i avoid that road like the plague; even when it's not football season.

no. it's been that way for years and until they make against the rules, it will stay that way.

Hypotheticals for a few laughs...but this.

While surfin' around this morning, looking for different obs from schools on their scrimmages, I saw quite a few fans (other than Bama fans) using the words like intense, entertaining, and competitive when they were discussing Bama's spring game.

That's something seldom seen about any team.

Before the game, I think that was what @50+yeartidefan was guessing they would be saying after the game. He may not necessarily feel that way. Of course, he does write kinda cryptic.:-)

That's what I was trying to say with the hypotheticals comment; he was insinuating that's what we'd be reading this morning.

I can't say why but I do enjoy reading opinions from fans on days like this. It's fascinating how two people can look at the same thing and come away with opinions that are in direct conflict with each other.

While reading some fan reactions I've seen less than a half of a dozen post they thought the game was boring. A time or two some called it stupid. Trolling is what it all boiled down to, IMO.

Still, it's odd to see fans of other SEC schools commenting on how entertaining yesterday turned out. In the past I've watched replays out of boredom during the long off-season of the summer. There are a few things I want to watch more closely mainly because I got caught up in watching different aspects of the game and how the staff, and players, were reacting to each other.

IE: It's not big deal in the long run. I don't care if a coordinator has a close friendship with his players. That said, one thing that struck me yesterday was watching Daboll working with the offense—specifically his quarterbacks. There's a huge difference in Daboll when compared to Kiffin. In fact, as close as AJ was to Coach Mac (and you could see that when they were working together) they seem distant when compared to watching Daboll with the quarterbacks.

Hey, I was watching a lot of body language but you could see they are working well together. It appears to me they're a tight group already.

Right on brother....that was before...some...no ....most all tongue in cheek...
After the game i thought...
Best dang spring since 93 game..
Weather was great on west side..
Fans were having fun
Ingrams "heisman" pose was best moment in halftime..but dodgeball was fun
Wow....on a few new players...Najee!
Glad rain held off..and finally....
Gee, did I need a beer

I got caught up in Daboll's informal style too. There may be something to that as far as emotionally supporting players and communicating what you want in a personable way. They say counsel without accommodation is just criticism. I like Daboll taking the time to reinforce even the good things and I love him being a detail guy. It's all good, so far.
