🏈 For all new members

I am not new guys but could use some advice. Game day parking- any advice at all would be appreciated!!

Central HS on 15th St is what I use now that all the parking lots on campus are pay lots. It has been 10 bucks previous years, and isn't too far of a walk. Also, it allows for some pretty quick routs away from campus after the game if you know what you're doing (if you don't, take a GPS unit or study Google Maps before you're journey), just avoid McFarland after the game(s).

Central is 1/2 mile due south of the stadium, and 1/2 mail is about as short as one can get reasonable.

I have parked in the vacinity of the Tennis Courts in previous years, and taken the bus. The ride back has about a 5-10 wait in the bus line at the NorthWest corner of the Quad (which I suppose would really suck if it were raining), but it proves really convenient overall. Also, I have zero concerns about security there. (The last thing the UA needs is a bunch stories about them taking money for parking cars and then having Police diverted to fine Police Reports all night. What price for worry-free parking? (That is not to say that Central is not at least as secure, becasue I don't know.)

I suggest parking at the river side park on Jack Warner Parkway. Google "Park at Manderson Landing in Tuscaloosa, AL". Go to maps after you google it and you will see it's north of the stadium. Now, it's a little bit of a walk, but it's free parking and you'll walk by the Ferguson Student Center and through the quad to get to the stadium. The Ferguson has a nice food court and place to chill out if you don't have a tailgate, and it has a Bama apparel on the ground floor.

It's also easy to get back to the interstate from that location after the game. I've parked at numerous places all around the city, and it's by far the easiest to navigate in my opinion. Central High school parking would be a close second, but as Brandon said, it cost to park there.
