SEC is overrated. We hear that generally every year during the season so other teams and conferences can feel worthy of their ranking . But when they (SEC) prove to be the best at years end , nothing but crickets.

and that’s usually a yearly occurrence.

Tim, I agree totally. Something else I think that helped this year, was you had teams more evenly matched. It happens every year, but a lot of times we would have a bottom dweller SEC school going against a top tier team from another conference. This can skew perception to fit the media narrative of an over-rated SEC.
