I was hoping for a lot more 2 back sets last season. That was a USC staple when Kif was there. That's very exciting to hear.

One of the best sets of the kiffen USC offense was the Bush-White combo with Bush in the slot and White in backfield.

Bush would go in motion and multiple options opened up... most of which went for 5+ yds a pop.

Any combo of the above with Drake, Henry, or Harris would be pretty badass.

Here's my take on Coker's vaunted arm strength. Sure, he can throw far. But based on what I've heard and seen, his throwing motion reminds me a trebuchet. The velocity is powerful and trajectory is far, but the windup takes forever. That makes nearly every one of his throws that are over 5 yards... late.

A few tidbits and some updates:

***Hidden content cannot be quoted.***

D Henry will be able to truly run this year with an improved Oline. The sweep is deadly and like one post so eloquently put it, you can't get yards when you are hit in the backfield.

@ttownlaw5 , it was me who made the comment about OJ sucking, he does suck at blocking and catching here lately. I said Brandon Greene was far superior at both. Which he is.

I posted what my staff source thinks of Morris, let me add to that from the players perspective. He is a well respected guy, he knows the offense, he has a nice arm, the team supports him. These are the kinds of things I hear about him from players. So obviously he has all the tools to get the job done. Let's see it all pan out now.

We had Nudie so they kind of thought him that guy, although not as quick as Drake/Henry or Henry/ Harris etc. Now that we don't have Nudie it will be traditional insert HB like Nues or Two RB set. both going different directions.

We are going to miss Nudie a lot initially.

Sometimes it takes our kids awhile to "get it", but he finally did. I think that WV game did he wonders. He had no clue what to do and realized I better get to the film room. He tackles with his head up now btw. Improvement!
He has reminded me of Jerrell Harris. But a better version.

Need I even put Cornwallis in, Yorktown is over.
But was he there, or no? I know it's a foregone conclusion as far as his depth placement is concerned, because it's gameweek, essentially.

My question is whether or not he was there at all. That would substantiate the rumor of him transferring.

Yes he was. Last in line. Throwing to Kief well over his head.

It's funny how different people can watch the same scrimmage and have a different perspective. If you go read the scrimmage reports from the Bamamag board, most of those sunshine pumpers think Morris did well but Coker did better. I've seen and heard enough on my own that Coker is a throw of the dice every time he's out there. Sooner or later, you're gonna roll snake eyes. I'm much more comfortable with Morris and/or Bateman at QB than Coker. I said on Bamamag, Coker will be the MVP if he plays, you just don't know for which side.

Another poster mentioned Wiskey blitzing will leave the TE routes open. Have you forgotten who we have playing TE? OJ "looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane" Howard? Maybe one of the other guys can step it up there, but I've given up on OJ.

May be me you are referring to. Lol. OJ is my Michael Bowman for all intents and purposes. I always held out hope that Bowman would perform up to the standards that his physical gifts seemed to indicate. I held that hope to the end. I will hold that same hope with Howard.
