šŸˆ Eyabi Anoma is currently not attending classes at The University of Alabama

We never saw what he was actually capable of so it's hard to miss him... We all had high hopes.

Good news is we got dudes. If Allen and Lewis are healthy we should be fine. Not to mention Jennings who's now a 10th year senior!

I will say this though - Good players aren't always good enough. Special talent is neccessary to win a championship. I think we all were hoping Anoma would be a special player like other championship D's have had... But someone else needs to be that guy.

Alfano is #13....Take a look

What about Antonio Alfano? He was 24/7 composite #1 player in the nation.

Health issues from family is definitely an issue here. However, bettering yourself and rising above being just a Baltimore guy is a huge thing for him. He had a choice, he chose to be a big fish in a small pond so he could be closer to friends and family. Which I can understand, however, this is starting to look like the cliche hood kid can't shake the need to return to the hood.

Also it's official he's in the portal..

And doesnt he have to sit out 2019?
He may, may not. Logic says he'll use health as a part of his waiver application process.

Remember a week or so ago where Harbaugh received some attention with his mention of mental illness as an illegitimate excuse for some players. He was tone deaf, but making a solid point. There are players leaving programs where they use excuses (my relatives health) while other reasons aren't mentioned (team rules, class requirements, grades, etc.)

Harbaugh probably had his own issues well in mind when he said it. He figures it hasn't slowed his roll.

Luke Ford's waiver was denied after claiming he moved home to play closer to his ailing grandparents in Illinois.

And Anoma has been suspended by the University. A fact that won't escape the NCAA: I'd think. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Oh wow, I did not know he was suspended.

Dangit, I was really pulling for him considering where he came from, the ADHD issues, and all of the family problems he was dealing with. I'm not going to be rude like others on him that say they are glad to see him gone, but I do wish him well and hope he figures it out and doesn't waste his abilities like so many others have.
