Delta, both the Louisville and VT games came to my mind in the first quarter, but honestly I never lost faith until the last interception. I really thought we would come out the second half and turn the game around.

Got to give the Utes a lot of credit on their win.

Ahhh Delta, you had to bring up my only bowl game trip - and loss. That VT game was so cold. It just made it worse. But hey, 12-2 this year is awesome and Nick is about to hit the reload button and pop another magazine in.

Sad but true. Utah didn't even need the entire first quarter. Just ten or eleven minutes. They did to Bama what Bama did to several teams this year.

In '90, the loss to Louisville didn't come as a shock to me. If you recall, we lost to Southern Miss that year and Louisville did as well. I didn't have a lot of hope we'd win that game even though we had won 7 of our last 8 games. That 0-3 start was very fresh on my mind.

'98 didn't shock me either. We didn't show up against Arkansas that year either. Can't say we showed up for Mississippi State that year either.
