ESPN announces playoff broadcast teams
The four-team field for the College Football Playoff is set and ESPN unveiled its announce teams for each of the playoff games on Tuesday.

Kicking off the semifinal action on New Year's Eve is the Peach Bowl between No. 1 Alabama and No. 4 Washington, which will be called by Jose Tessitore, Todd Blackledge and Holly Rowe. The game will get underway from the Georgia Dome at 3 p.m. ET.

Then in the nightcap at 7 p.m. ET, Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will be in the broadcast booth for the Fiesta Bowl semifinal between No. 2 Clemson against No. 3 Ohio State, with Tom Rinaldi and Samantha Ponder reporting from the sidelines.

Herbstreit and Fowler will also be on the call for the College Football Playoff National Championship, marking their third straight year to call the game. They'll be joined again by Rinaldi and Ponder as the sideline reporters. The national title game will take place Jan. 9 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla., and kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET.
