🏈 Entire Minnesota team boycotting their bowl game

As a dad, I can't fathom my daughter taking ANY dicks. I can stifle my vomit for ONE, her eventual husband. That's it, though.

But 10? TEN?

And at the SAME TIME?

I truly hope I never have a daughter... I will be in prison by the time shes 17 Im sure of it... I mean this girl was letting 10 dudes she probably barely knew fuck her... what in the actual fuck!?

At that point you'd have to lay the blame solely on yourself for not fathering her with better values.

And yes, I agree with your prison thoughts, wholeheartedly.

I have THREE daughters (2 of my own, 1 step). Ages 13, 12, and 8.

And I've thoroughly planned my methods of execution AND subsequent alibis. Believe-you-me.

"No no no but she enjoyed the gangbang!" What a defense jesus.

Well if she truly consented and enjoyed it as an active participant then what's the problem with it as a defense? Legally speaking that is, I'm not getting into the morality of it. If she was drunk I think the waters get a little muddy. I would imagine the guys were drunk too but people look at drunken consent from a man differently than that of drunk woman. If she did lie though and there is definitive proof of it, then I have to say I'm cool with the team standing behind the accused in this manner.

According to police records, a woman told officers she was drunk when she was sexually assaulted in Djam's apartment by several men on Sept. 2, including some of the suspended players. She said her sexual contact with two men may have been consensual, but her contact with four of them was not. Several players told police it was consensual, and an investigator who watched a video Djam took of the incident wrote that "she does not appear to be upset by the sexual activity and does not indicate that she wants it to stop ... and the sexual contact appears entirely consensual."

In a statement read by senior wide receiver Drew Wolitarsky, the players said: "The boycott will remain effective until due process is followed and suspensions for all 10 players involved are lifted."

10 players got suspended but only six are accounted for here. What happened with the other four?

I was going to say something about them following the Mixon situation and releasing the tape (kidding of course) but decided not to and yet still do because I couldn't help myself.

I suppose government should have learned at prohibition, you can't legislate morality. Title IX and this new campus bylaw of "yes means yes" will meet with the same poor results. Having a set of standards that basically allows someone to point a finger at a person and say, there he is and make it stick is disconcerting. To put the burden of proof on the accused is absolutely a recipe for failure. Being secretive about the process only makes people more suspicious about the intent.

So what happen now? Does the bowl committee select another team to replace Minnesota?

Minnesota players end their boycott, will play in Holiday Bowl

Minnesota Golden Gophers players negotiated late into the night with school administrators and announced Saturday morning in a news conference that the boycott of football activities has ended. The team will begin preparing to play in the Dec. 27 Holiday Bowl against Washington State.

The players began the boycott because of the suspension of 10 players accused of participating in a sexual assault. University President Eric Kaler and athletic director Mark Coyle met with a group of football players Friday night, the university said, as they tried to find common ground. The school declined the players’ request to reinstate the suspended players.

I realize that at the end of the day, these are kids, kids who have been catered to and pampered all of their lives (once they have become noteworthy as special athletes). They most often do not understand the concept of 'no' or that everyone is not wanting to be around them and allowing them to do anything they want to do, even stupid things. Don't get me wrong, I did plenty of stupid things when I was in college, especially drunken frat party stupid things. It is very hard to think that a threesome would naturally lead to a gangbang thru natural progression and not as a result of drinking or ingestion of other substances and others simply coming in and joining the party, can see it happening, but not via the girl inviting others in.
I can't understand why the Holiday Bowl would still allow these idiots to participate in the bowl; as soon as this surfaced, Seems they would have retracted the invitation and moved a new team in place.

This incident had been known and around through the season. What is really hard for me to get is why the university wouldn't just simply wait a couple of weeks more until the season was over.
