Elvis Presley died on August 16, 1977. I was ten years old and I remember it very clearly. Long live the King.

Saw him in concert in Dec. of 76 in the Birmingham/Jefferson Civic Center. The man could entertain a crowd.

I was never into the King until about 20 years ago when I dated this mega hottie who worshipped him. Began listening to his music, and watching his movies, and have been a fan ever since. Like my ex-girl, I like the 50s era Elvis. Loving You is a fav film.
