Possibly in the Bowl game, depending on what Jalen decides to do.
What's happening at bowl game? I don't understand this narrative about the bowl game.

I'm gonna put this out here. The whole obsession with Jalen coming back or not/playing in bowl game has dominated the other board for days... And ppl being upset of possibilities of both.... And this is driven by paranoid, stupid fan base who will push any narrative just to find something to hate on Milroe. This is simply getting old at this point.

I don't think T. Simpson is the answer JMO.

In his small sample size what makes you think that ?

I believe he will be an improvement at the QB position. He won’t be
the athlete Milroe is but heck who is. But at reading a defense , knowing it’s weaknesses vs the play call and delivering the ball accurately to all levels consistently , that will be improved.

I don’t know if that will equate to more wins or not. But just like Jalen and even more to a degree he will need other players (O-line) to do their job to give him a chance to be successful

IMO

I don't think @PurlJam meant anything deeper there than the comment that if Milroe decides to skip it, then we will finally get a non-mop up look at Simpson.

But you're right in that (some) fans are just waiting to jump on Milroe, regardless of which he does... play or not play.

Everyone's getting paid now. The idea of amateurism has departed. I wonder when someone who has eligibility left, but hasn't done well in the NFL, tests the system to return to college. A sort of "sent down the minors".
A month or so ago I suggested something along these lines. A lot like the attempt to limit coaches pay we saw a quarter of a century ago...I can see a suit about the eligibility rules in the NCAA.

Hypothetical: If I'm in school, how am I not eligible to play?

Just stating a realistic scenario. If Jalen decides not to play then we'll see Simpson or someone else. IMO, you just read too much into what I'm stating. I have no narrative nor any reason to "hate" on Jalen, I'm just stating a simple fact and dont really give 2 shits on what the young man decides to do about his career and wish him nothing but the best moving forward.

If I’m not mistaken, Simpson has a longer run from scrimmage under his belt than Milroe. Of course it could have been 1 yard longer and also been a TD if he hadn’t tossed the ball before crossing the goal line… I believe Ty’s was 78 yards since he didn’t get the last yard, and Milroe’s longest has been 77.

Not being the answer I mean being an elite QB allowing us to contend for the CC and NC. It is a small sample size A-day and mop up but from what I've seen I don't see it. It would not surprise me to see Mack beat him out CKD brought him for a reason. Who knows maybe he can get the job done again JMO.

A career college athlete, interesting!!
Seriously. Who is going to argue about a guy wanting to play six years while pursuing a degree. Or eight, if it's a PHD.

You have a base salary from the program. Then you have your endorsements. If I'm making north of five hundred K a year, in school...

@PurlJam I wasn't trying to call you out or anything like that. I was more frustrated with our fanbase wailing on Jalen the last few weeks...
