🏈 Eddie Lacy on E:60 Tuesday 4/23

Really gonna miss this guy.

Here's the story for those who didn't record it. Haven't watched it on my DVR yet, so not sure if this is 100% of the video, but at 9mins I'm thinking its complete.

I watched it with my dad tonight. Absolutely terrific story, I hadn't heard most of it about his personal struggles. Really great to hear it and how driven he was. Coach Saban spoke VERY highly of him. It reminded me of how he spoke about Julio's character.

What a great story and a remarkable kid!

On another note, if you saw the first part of the show they hammered Auburn about the known synthetic weed problem of the 2010 NC team. Had Chizek dodging questions. Interviewed the 4 that arm robbed the folks in the mobile home. It was very telling. With all the "smoke" (pardon the pun) surrounding that team, you can't tell me they were legit...

His was an interesting recruiting story to follow.

LSU was slow-playing him from day one. Burton Burns, and the Bama staff, never waivered on the recruitment of Eddie. Then, late in the game (late December, early January) when the chances of him qualifying were looking better and better LSU tried to get back in the picture. And, as you can expect from a lot of fans, then you saw the cries from Tiger fans that he had discipline issues.

Katrina played a large role in his life as it did Flukers.

I watched it and thoroughly enjoyed it! I wish we could've gotten Eddie and his family to our area when Katrina struck. That was a horrible time but you can tell that Eddie is well grounded with a terrific family!!
