🏈 Dylan Moses with an ACL injury--out indefinitely

Anyone think we slide Ben Davis back inside. I realize it’s taken 4 years to crack the 2-deep at OLB. I’m guessing there is less to grasp playing outside vs inside?

Welp, we got 5 tuneups to try and figure it out. Other than Tua, couldn’t be a bigger loss anywhere.

I think this is definitely and option, I mean Bens been in the process now for what 4 years, I would like to see him get a shot with rotation with Lee/Moody, I like a good comeback story

The mental aspect is a lot to handle at ILB. Don't know if that's the place he can be most successful at this point... Especially with the injury history at OLB - He may find the field there soon also.

Awful news for Dylan, really hate it for the guy entering the season as one of the top LBs in the country. He's got to be devastated today.

Will we start the game with a LB calling plays that hasn't really played meaningful downs before? Scary if you ask me. Guys get out of position just slightly and it gets ugly fast. Who was the kid a few years ago that kept coming in and seemed to miss assignments every other play at inside backer? It's a place you can't pretend. And experience is very very valuable. This hurts. Thankful Allen is coming back but he hasn't played in almost 2 years after his pre-season ACL last year. Our LB experience is non-existent starting this season. I don't want to be nervous by week 3 in Columbia... Can't have 2010 again.

Sure seems like we've had more injuries to starters (top performers) the last few years than other contenders. Maybe it's just me. 2017 we were down 4 or 5 of our top LBs for a few weeks.

Sounds like coaches got a lot to do....but this is bama and #1 recruiting classes out the butt...other programs wilt with such....
Lots of real games to get people experienced.....the losses are great.....but better score 40 on this D.....the o is going to put up 50

50... Nick and staff have missed on ILB (latest class sounds better) the previous couple of years and now we're in a bit of a pinch. Either these two freshmen backers are elite or those recruited before them are average or maybe less.

Dusty Springfield ….Wishin and Hopin ….for solid ILB play in 2019.
