We have had several years where we were able to keep the injury bug at bay but this year it has definitely caught up with us. We are thin on experienced talent this year and the injuries have been very difficult to manage. Hopefully we can just keep fighting thru it. Would be the coaching job of his career if we can somehow sneak by and win a championship. Very doubtful with the way the injuries are piling up and the play style of our possible opponents.

I feel better about Holcombe being on the field with Miller and Lewis being back. maybe that grouping could work out better than we think. There was a period of time earlier in this year or maybe it was last year where Holcombe seemed to be in the right spot A LOT. Later in this season was where it seemed to look more like a problem.

Maybe if all three of those guys are on point it could stymie the run game Clemson has enough to keep them off balance and get us into a low 20's type of dogfight with them. That would be fun to watch.

I'm for the one thats playing. I want both to succeed as i'm sure everyone else does too. As for improvement, I wish Hurts could check down and look for someone else besides Ridley. If we would run the ball and actually use our running backs, I think the offense would be much more effective........3rd downs have killed us in the past.

With all of these injuries, if we can win it all, it could possibly be Saban's greatest achievement.

To win in 2011....took incredible luck...Iowa State beating Ok St...was a tense moment when espn announced the final 2...Bama and Lsu....leaving Ok state sucking hind tit...
To win in 2012.....Bama had a tremendous luckie break...with the 12-0 Ohio State being on probation....otherwise would have played ND....since Bama was 12-1...
.....so with the Stars realignment this yr for us...
Its Bama...and yes....a tremendous achievement....spinkled with some luck even being in the final 4......Saban pulls this off...it will be up there for achievements

Coach Saban said that Moses injury is similar to Wilson. They put a pin in his foot and it should be a few weeks.
