I'll double down on my opinion of this team: wait until the end of the season. Yeah, I know. It's a pattern that's difficult to ignore. Close but no cigar. When it seems Alabama has turned the corner we find ourselves staring another wall, another disappointment, in the face.
But, this team seems different. Pardon me if I can't put a finger on it. Maybe it's the attitude that peeks out sometimes. Maybe it's the fact that this team at least puts itself in a position to win. One game soon, and it better be soon, maybe they'll realize they can actually win, and then when they taste a slice of victory pie they'll want to eat the whole darn thing.
The knee-jerk reaction of last night, and several other nights throughout this season, becomes more violent as this improbably promising opportunity wanes. Maybe my optimism rules my judgment. Decisions by those who make them won't happen until this season ends, so I'm waiting until then as well. I'll support the Tide until we have all the results. Let's wait until March.
