🏈 Does McFadden have a legitimate shot at the heisman?

I would hope so, but I don't have a vote. He is right there with Bo and Herschel as the best SEC RB's ever. He put on the clinic of clinics last night against SC.

If Arkansas had been more successful this year, it would have been probable, but I don't think so anymore. Arky has simply had too many losses.

While I think McFadden may be the best back in a while, he is NO Hershel Walker. Hershel Walker was literally able to put the UGA team on his back and win a MNC. If McFadden had been able to tote Arkansas to even a SEC West title this season, he might have won, but I don't think it is to be. They started 0-3 in the SEC and still have LSU to lose to.

If it were actually about the best player then yes. But the Heisman is not about the best player so I doubt it.

Arkansas has lost too many games for the "experts" to award McFadden the Heisman. You see, somehow in the grand scheme of things (probably when the media got involved) it went from being the best player to being the best player on the winningest team. The whole thing is an excersise in <BS> . It's a popularity contest at best. The best players rarely win the award.

If I had to pick a current favorite player outside of Alabama's, D-Mac would be my first choice.

The guy deserves the heisman no matter what Arkansas' record is this season. I usually don't care about who wins the heisman, but with a special player like D-Mac...you just can't ignore him.

naw i dont think so. Arkansas & McFadden get little to no attention from the media and they lose to much. imo hes by far the best back in the nation but i doubt he'll get it.
