I have no idea if I've mentioned this. *8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown" gives me a few laughs every time I see an episode.

The numbers part...good brain excercise. I don't know what this one is...just the first one I saw.

Not really, not these days anyway. When I was a kid I loved Card Sharks and Press Your Luck. The Price is Right was kinda fun. Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune were hit or miss. My brother was a contestant on Let's Make a Deal about 10 years ago... I watched that one.

@TerryP you have talk about that show a few time. I really like @Brandon Van de Graaff I don't watch many game show now. The best was if you call it a game show was the Going Show.

No. I include competitions like survivor and such as game shows. Don't watch them, either. I did watch one episode of a baking competition that's now running on Hallmark that has some Alabama ladies on it, relatives of an acquaintance. Funny, they flew the entire crew and every contestant to England, kept them in great accommodations for three weeks, and that was cheaper than producing and filming it in the U.S. The last union contract for film, TV and commercial workers looks to the be the killing blow for Hollywood.

Years ago, I'd watch Jeopardy and as a youth I took in the standards of the day - Wheel of Fortune, Price is Right, Family Feud, Match Game, Hollywood Squares, the whole bit.
