It was always a big deal to me and my friends when I was a kid (80's) to get the game score shirt the night of the game, or the day after. Our parents would drop us off at the mall and we'd stand in line at Bama Fever and we'd all wear it to school on Monday.

Edit- I remember when they used to have the printers set up outside stadiums after big games, like the Iron Bowl at Legion Field, and you could buy the souvenir game poster with the final score on it on your way out after the game. I think I still have one from the 1992 Iron Bowl somewhere.

I have one from the 2008 Iron Bowl.

I also have one (along with a hat) from every National Championship win and every CFP win in the NS era. They're the ones that they give the players on the field immediately following the win. I also have them from the 2009, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2018 SEC Championship games.

And my 2009 National Championship shirt is signed by Erik Anders.

Even in school I wouldn't buy those pre or post game. It struck me as wearing a Sunday morning cartoon strip.

...all the while I'm attending classes wearing something with the Dancing Bears...
