🏈 DJ Fluker

This may have been covered already, but I haven't seen it. Two plays stood out to me last night. One was on a rushing touchdown by TJ, Fluker made his way to the running lane with a defender behind him. I loved watching him stop moving and block the defender with his back as TJ hit the goal line. The second was a 3 or 4 yard run sometime in the 3rd quarter. After the play, DJ was fired up about something. It looked like he was pissed about the play only gaining a few yards. He walked back to the huddle screaming and pumping his fist, I wish I knew what it was that he was screaming. It seemed like, after that play, the right side of the line had a huge push for the rest of the night.

^^ That second play is what I was thinking about, he was HEATED and letting everyone know about it. Danielson said that Fluker had been gettin in his O-Line's ear on the sideline even before they got onto the field too.

I love Fluker. He may get beat on pass rush from time to time but he lays with a TON of heart and is the guy who loves to inspire the offense. He was pissed on that play because he knew we play better than that. Right after he did that it seemed the guys picked it up a notch. From interviews of other players they said Fluker just gets them pumped and they love him for it. Big ole teddy bear in his interviews but I'd never want to be on the opposite side of him on the LOS

Looked to me like Fluker was making a statement to his line, his qb, his OC, and Saban. It was a first down and we ran the ball (finally) for 4 or 5 yards. His reaction to me seemed like he was screaming "SEE THAT!!!! Run the ball behind me. Lets go".
The Bulldog d saw it too and reacted like "please god no"

Fluker changed the tone of the game for us offensively for the rest of the night.

Cool thing, Anthony Steen looked to him and said "How bad do you want this", Fluker gave him that blank stare of desire and said "Real bad"...All this right before the big drive where AJ hit Amari.....That entire o-line is full of warriors
