After he shook Fulmer's hand, he ran over to the student section and thanked them, then kind of jogged back across the field and waved at the rest of the fans before heading into the tunnel.

I'm glad he thanked the fans. That is the loudest I've heard it on the television in many, many years.

It was very cool of Coach Saban to acknowledge the fans like that. It says alot about him imho.

From his FIRST press conference as Head Coach, he said the fans would be an integral part of this new era. He has chastised some of us for being classless at the UGA game. He has praised us when we were loud and proud.

The fans are very important. It was awesome as hell of him to run by us during the post game. Most Bama fans stayed until well after he went back into the tunnel.
