Over the last few days I've glanced at a few UGA sites to see what fan reaction(s) were/are after their game against Notre Dame.
A lot I expected although there is one trend that comes as a little bit of a surprise: sort of.
One general narrative about their trip was how respectful, polite, and engaging the ND fan base was to the visitors from UGA. Now, I am pretty confident in saying they were likely a bit intimidated seeing around 40K inside the stadium for the game with more outside without tickets.
But, I'm still left wondering if this "meeting" between the two teams was nothing more than a slobber-fest.
Is it logical that we'd see two teams who consider themselves to be college football royalty--TODAY--to get along so easily? Was this a case of two delusional fan bases doing nothing more than stroking each other's egos?
