It's probably the main reason. All great coaches (Coach Bryant) harp on turnover margin! The fact Bama only had one turnover (if you call the stolen pass from 87) just might be the reason we didn't lose.

The D doesnāt need major anything.
Attention gloom and doomers! CNS has already addressed these issues with these offenses in at least one interview. The basic premise is to force a few 3 and outs because you are not shutting them down as in days of old. Then again listening to the GOAT doesnāt fit with the defensive gurus stirring shit after a damn good win to cap a damn good season by a damn good team.
And we could run the ball... they couldnāt.The fact Bama only had one turnover (if you call the stolen pass from 87) just might be the reason we didn't lose.
Here's the difference between Clemson and Florida. Trask and Lawrence are both excellent QBs, and they have excellent WRs to throw to. The one thing Lawrence has that Trask does not is an elite RB.
While they do have a much better ground game, overall their OL isn't as good as UF's and their receivers/TE are nowhere near the level of mismatches that UF had last night.
Looking like you need DBs built like Billingsly with near Waddle speed to start shutting down these offenses.Agree. But even if our plan was to force a few 3 and outs, mission wasnāt accomplished. We forced zero. They did have one 4 play drive and punt. And 2 TD drives of 4 plays or less. I am curious when the last season was that we had 2 games with no 3 and outs during the season (Ole Miss and UF). Different game these days but still a feat to avoid those of a Bama D every possession.
The defenses?!
Clemson > UF. I think a Bama/Clemson game will be very close and a bit of a shootout, but not as high scoring as last night.
I totally agree. I also think Clemson will have to play their very best game to have a chance of keeping up with Alabama!Bama will have to play their very best game to beat Clemson. The Clemson QB is a Hoss (like him or not).

They played great against largely inferior opposition. Kentucky, Auburn, Mississippi State. Tennessee, Georgia, Arkansas are nowhere near what florida and Clemson are on offense. The D doesnāt need major anything. UF has probably the second best offense in the country (behind UAās). There were mistakes, but to have the āsky is fallingā attitude is not logical.
Prior to tonight the defense was playing great and everybody was singing their praises, now after one game it needs completely overhauled? Makes no sense
People are acting like Bama is a scrub team. Bama is a great team. Could ND or Clemson beat them? Sure, UF could have also. I said that before the game when no one was giving them any credit. I truly want our D to be better and they will need to be in the CFP or we will fall short.
With all of that said this offense has been the best I have ever seen at Bama and the other teams also have to stop them. That is why the wildcard will be the impact of Dickerson.
Golding needs to go, dude is awful. Let him go coach a community college intramural squadWe shall see if nick is happy with DC after this year.... no way he would make any changes this late @Cars2234 ....
I was surprised the DC was retained after lastyear...and ST coach
But i trust NS....
