Every time I hear this guy being asked an Alabama-related question, he has something negative to say. Should ESPN use an analyst that can't see past his own hate to evaluate a team objectively? The guy is a joke....imo!

He's doing it to get attention. He tried to go legit and failed, so he sticks to stirring now. It works well for him. Basically, he isn't someone you should take seriously. He does what he does (says things he doesn't necessarily believe) on purpose to get a reaction.

Kanell is an idiot, plain and simple. He is the TV version of Finebaum, but to be honest, Finebaum is ALOT more knowledgeable than Kanell.

I'm glad someone else noticed this from him. I don't have, nor do I want a Twitter account, but I came so close to signing up for one the other week and just spending my night blasting him for his comments and remarks regarding Alabama. I used to think he was an alright guy, but lately he has shown his ineptness to analyze college football by his blatant attempts to talk trash about Alabama. Eventually we are going to not make a National Championship, but how could you bet against us after what we've shown since Saban arrived? He has shown over and over again that you don't sleep on his abilities as a coach, his players believe in him, as do his fans. Kanell seemingly is the only idiot out there that doesn't respect Alabama or think they are good. Not sure where he's been hiding the past four or five years, but he needs to go back, freaking tool.

I think this dude is a microcosm of what everybody else thinks about us. I don't agree, certainly, but people wanna believe what they want. Do you remember what everyone was saying about ND defense last year leading up to the BCSNCG? Their redzone numbers where unbelievable but that needed to be observed in context. People are sick of us, which couldn't please me more.

Also, Kannell the same garbage that was status quo back during the time FSU was a power house. All I have to say to him on that is they didn't play anybody either, so it was fairly simple to have the top 5 finishes the way they did.

There's a reason people hate us. There's a reason you don't see people attacking Duke football.

Me neither. I avoid him when possible. I liken it to Finebaum... He's the only sports radio choice I have here when he's on the air... he's on every sports station... so when I'm in the car, it's tuned to a rock station or my trusty Metallica CD. I'm still pissed they bumped the Matt and Scot show to evenings because of him.

Errr, he can't. That show was canceled. (Deservedly so and not because DK was a co-host.)

He's not even worth reading. His trolling is just lazy and stupid now. He's just doing this to bring more media attention to himself and Florida State.

I for one am happy though. He's providing more locker room material for the team to shut him up; making Nick Saban's job much easier.
