Danielson and Lundquist are the best in the biz. If you don't like em to bad.

The scores of viewers with muted Televisions and radios tuned into Eli Gold points to:

Yes Verne is a legend. I love his voice and sound. He apparently doesn't give a damn or is senile. CBS does roughly 10 games a year in a conference with 12 teams. More than likely he will only see 4-6 teams a year. CBS is the primo game of the week. That means that UF, UT, UA, UGA, LSU,and AU will be the teams he will see at least twice, maybe 3 or 4 times.

Verne constantly mispronounces names of players that he has seen all year. Hell with only 10 weeks worth of work to do. He should have the top teams roster half memorized. I watched other games and knew more about the roster than he did. That is pathetic and extremely unprofessional. I liken it to what is going on with Bobby Bowden and not being able to remember half of the game he just coached. Danielson is ok at what he does, but I still think he is a feminine hygiene product. He comes across as arrogant and does not really have a polished sound IMO.

I suppose with starving children, human trafficing, and the ever present threat of genicide somewhere on this planet, it really doesn't matter.

But as we all are here on this site and not off fighting for what really does matter, I will say apparently Bama football viewing does matters enough for you to post the question, for me to answer it, and for others the mute the CBS team.

The funny thing is, I was looking at Swamp Gas the day this article was released and the Florida fans are IN LOVE with Gary Danielson and agreed with this article whole heartedly. What a shock, eh? :shock:

I could overlook some of the mispronounciations and missteps if it didn't seem that Danielson has a beef with the U of A. That's my problem. I don't care how they look, and I don't care how they sound. Herbstreit does a good job, so does Blackledge, even though I know both of them are Big 10 men. They call the games fairly, and without bias. They voice their opinions, but as an unbiased third party. That has to be hard to do when it's Penn State of Ohio State that is the game.

I don't think I could call a Bama vs. Anyone game and be very unbiased. You'd know who I was pulling for!!
