🏈 Daddy's going to pasadena! Daddy's going to pasadena!!!!!!!

Looks like I will be there too. My early Christmas present came last night via email. A confirmation from my dad on the purchase of 2 tickets on row 33 in the bama section.

He had already booked the flight and hotel.

:panic: :hyper: :panic: :hyper:

And I will have my camera.

Porter, the problem is, some folks.........Doemasters....just arent upper crust like the rest of us is all. Don't hold it against him.;)

Justin, we'll have to hook up by phone before hand so we can get it all figured out. I'm not sure if Porter has a plan in place for a tailgate or not, but we can all figure it out I guess. We've got some time before the game.

oh da pain

Take plenty of pictures and have a blast.

Sounds like y'all are going to have fun Porkchop. I'm jealous. Times like this make me miss being out in Santa Monica. What a great Christmas present! :elephant:

Porter, I was the last one to know. I know that shocks you.

Seriously, all my friends that work with my wife had been giving her the info on all things Rose Bowl. Like you mentioned, the golf course is one of the best places, if not the best, to park at. I'm hearing that it's a $30 fee though, which isn't a big deal. Unless we get a parking pass (my wife is looking into it now) that's where I assume I'll be parking.

I'm looking at Mapquest now and the gold course (I'm assuming) that we're talking about is Brookside, and that's basically connected to the Rose Bowl. Not sure how far parking would be, but I'm thinking several blocks at the most.

Greg, you know as well as I do that you can't get 10 feet away from Christian before serious questions and conspiracy theories start to fly. You know I had to take him to the game.

It'll be something that he'll always remember, and I'm glad Nancy got 2 tickets instead of just one. If he'd have been left home it would have killed him. I'm not joking either; he's wanting to paint-up and get the whole Tide box with the toilet paper thing going for the game. He's more pumped than I am about it.

I have my 4x4 truck here, so if you guys wanted to load up in it we could take it, plus, I have a gas grill as well we could take up there and cook out! Up to you guys let me know PM me and we can hammer this out! Most important thing is we win damn it! :elephant::panic:

Awesome Christmas present, Keith! Hope you and your son has a terrific time at the game. You owe your wife an extra special anniversary gift.

I, too, am a tad bit jealous, especially considering I was told by my family last night that they had planned to do the same thing for me for Christmas, but their connection for 4 tickets (for me, my son, his best friend, and my brother who lives in LA) at face value fell through. :frown: Of course, we had a free place to stay with family living out there.

Air travel had already been planned out (we were gonna be flying out of Houston) and my wife had even contacted my boss to make sure that I could get the days off to make them trip. Everything was set until the tickets didn't come through.

Glad to see that a few other folks on this site will have an opportunity to go to the NC game. Wishing everyone a unforgettable experience and safe trip.

Good luck in Vegas, Porter!

Hey, y'all be sure to yell RAMMER JAMMER as loud as ya can at the end of the game for Factor, ya hear?

RTR!

Dang, chop...you married well, didn't you? Y'all wave at the ol' Pirate. I'll be on the 50 yard line, sitting in my recliner in front of the big screen, drinking a cold one (Pepsi, no doubt).
