He should have let it go, but people are going to lose their shit about it simply because it is Dabo. Said the other day that he brings issues upon himself, and this is another example... but he also gets whipped 10x worse over some stuff compared to many of his CFB colleagues.

Neither do I, but this is probably the last thing that he should've done. You can say your piece, but you probably shouldn't go on a 7-8 minute tirade.

That would've been the best thing to do in that situation, or just simply keep it short and sweet. This is the last thing he needed to do in this situation. Now, not only is he going to be all over the news prior to a very important game for his program, but he now invites shit like that to continue to happen again because he simply couldn't let it go.

He should have saved the rant for the call screener during the commercial break. 😆
 
Dabo should’ve let that go and not go on some 7-8 minute tirade. He could’ve easily replied back with “Hey, I’m disappointed as well in our season thus far and I take sole responsibility for it because it is my job as the HC! I hope you will continue to support us and these players!”
 
I live in Georgia and I’ve told many of my puppy friends they should pay close attention to Dabo and Clemson. Just a few short years ago Dabo was labeled the new king of college football coaching and Clemson the new Alabama. A lot of us said back then it’s much easier to get to the top than to stay there. Now, I’m not saying the same will happen with Kirby and UGA but it won’t be a shock if it does. The one thing Kirby has going for him that Dabo didn’t is he worked under the GOAT for a long time. Though to be completely honest I’m so hoping that as each week goes by he forgets more of what he learned🤞
 
For years a group of us have said we didn't want Dabo in Tuscaloosa because he wouldn't be able to handle the fish bowl that is the HC position for Bama. Is there any doubt?

Not a good look for Tyler.
Not a good look for Dabo.

It's a bad look for Clemson.

Why lower yourself though? Yes, paid millions to coach, but also paid millions to stay calm and not fly off the handle like a testosterone laced high schooler. Kind of an insight into how he handles pressure off the field and things out of his control. Easy to deal with it when you have control of everything, but the real test is how you handle issues when not in total control.

To be fair, what is obnoxious about it? We talk a good bit here about Dabo's antics and his lack of action when it comes to the Portal, NIL, and everything else changing in college football. I'd be a little pissed off too if Saban said the heck with it and started losing 3-4 games a year with all the resources he is afforded and money put into the program.
