We sucked in this game. Dont give me excuses about Andre and Johnson being out. We stunk up the Super Dome. I had a bad feeling about this game since it was announced. Reminds me of a Bama team playing Louisville in the Fiesta Bowl.

Like the halftime review said "Alabama wanted to be in the BCS title game, and Utah wanted to be in the Sugar Bowl." Eh, whatever. :roll:

I hate losing, especially when it looks like the team didnt get off the bus. Embarassing!

Proud of them for 12-0, but they sucked in the post season.

Well tonight it has happened we got out a** handed to but a much better team. Hats of to UTAH who many on this site seem to think would roll over and get stomped. The Utah team was better coached, had a much better game plan and executed with great precision. Alabama on the other hand as reverted back to its fetal position and get beat in every phase of the game!

Please share me the way to be a fan routine. This was terrible for our program the Sec and out state. Flat out embarrassing for Alabama, where the hell was our defense we have All-Americans my foot.

This was truly a sad night for our program…

Utah did a fine job, but if you are implying that losing Smitty and MJ was anything less than HUGE, you don't know a lot about football my friend. I hope that you don't think that the result would have been the same WITH all the OL in their normal places.

The Defense not showing up for the first 12:00 was the other big shot into our foot. Holding them to 10 pts over the last 3 quarters is nothing to be ashamed of. Not showing up is.

Next check the statements of confidence posted here against when Smitty was announce ineligible. I'm also pretty sure you wont find an unconditional post predicting victory. That would be a silly as you post.

In this Day and Age, I automatically assume every prediction have the caveat "On any given Saturday...". As for any predictions I might have made, I felt that "Unless something unusual happens..." would apply. My point was that Something unusual did happen.

My defense was in response to the image that "Utah was just a better team than us". I still don't think that is a case. Are they good, HECK Yeah, they were 12-0 for a reason. But like Barry Switzer said, there is not a player on Utah's team that coming out of high school Bama would have recruited. And, we have CNS. And, we went undefeated through the regular season in the SEC. BAMA, as displayed over the first 12 games, is a very good team...better than the Utes. If/And/But showed up, and they were not rooting for the Tide. It would not have been even this close of a game if the tables would have been turned.

I was at the game and I made the statement to whoever was within earshot, Utah had a very good team and a game plan to match. We weren't fired up and it showed. Utah should petition the PAC 10 or the BIG 10 to get themselves in a real conference. They were very impressive.
