📝 Crap .. 4-star CB Shyheim Carter decommits

Shyheim Carter, a 2016 four-star cornerback from Kentwood (La.) High School, has decommitted from Alabama. The Bayou State prospect confirmed the news via his Twitter account on Monday morning.

Carter had been committed to the Crimson Tide since July of last year.

Carter, a 6-foot, 190-pound prospect is rated the No. 5 cornerback and the No. 51 overall player in the country per the 247Sports Composite rankings, an industry-generated average. He is currently trending to LSU at 40 percent on the Crystal Ball.

Can't blame him really if he want's to play corner back. While Bama really does well and getting CB's in the league,(so does LSU). If you look at a roster of depth between the two.. he has a much better chance of playing early at the "who".

Long term I think Bama would be better for him but a lot of these kids are only focused on whats right in front of them.. and in that instance he is a better fit with LSU.

He is a high school kid so lord knows what he is thinking but if he wants to play early.. Any of those schools would allow him a better chance to play early. If his parent or advisor tells him right and he truly has nfl talent Bama would be an obvious choice over ole miss or the dogs.

I had heard he was under a bunch of pressure to stay at lswho and they got some crystal balls after the decommitt. That is why I said he was leaning there.
