Ha, I saw a clip of that. ESPN had a pretty good thing going when they showed the main broadcast of the game on one channel then had an alternate viewing with some coaches doing the game live. Was an interesting perspective. I guess they ditched that and went with this idea instead. As much I appreciate some of the stuff Cole brings to the table, I'd imagine that broadcast was way too over the top for my liking. And having Griffin with a microphone is an automatic nope. Only thing worse would have been Booger McFarland rolling around the sidelines on his little boom wagon pointing out the obvious for 4 hours.

A few things I've seen make me think that whole deal was "brought to us by Pat McAfee?"

Have not really followed Pat McAfee. Only thing I know is what I have seen on College Gameday the few times I have watched that. Seems to just be a loud mouth blow hard.
