I think I'm to the point where as long as Notre Dame is not involved in game, Musburger only me make me throw up in my mouth about 2 or 3 times per game. I'd probably be down close to zeros if he wasn't paired with Jesse Palmer.

Yeah I like Nessler and Blackledge as a team. Really liked Musberger and Herbstreit when they were a team. Palmer is awful tho and I see some of yalls favorites Joey Galloway and Danny Kanell are calling a few games lol

Its a damn shame Gus Johnson doesnt get to call a bowl game tho smh Hopefully ESPN picks him up when his Fox contract runs out

I didnt mind it cause primarily it was the Cotton Bowl, it was kind of a tradition there for awhile. What happened with Fox and the Cotton Bowl anyway?

The playoff happened.

If you recall, FOX had the rights to broadcast the BCS games a couple of years ago. When ESPN won that bidding war it left FOX with the Cotton as its only bowl game. Then, with the Cotton being included in the six bowl games, and ESPN winning those rights to broadcast the CFB playoff...

*The audio feed with FOX is what gets on my nerves the most; not the color commentator, play-by-play announcer, or the sideline reporters.

*I'm going to miss the Cotton bowl being what it used to be; a Big12 vs SEC game the majority of the time. Since the inception of the BCS, there hasn't been a team from another conference invited to Dallas. Rarely mentioned, and woefully absent from reports, when Stoops and company were publically criticizing the strength of the SEC was the fact that the Big12 only won 5 of the 16 games since the conference partnerships commenced in 1998. (A bit ironic to me is the last Big12 team to win the Cotton was Mizzou following the 2007 season.)
