Collin Sexton and the NBA draft--(Lebron moving, the Lakers, and it's the off-season.)

Never used timeout, only my paddle/ruler.

Purest? You’re a fan of overboard faking to try and get penalties? You teach your kids that stuff is the way to get ahead in life? Just curious, because maybe I’m an outlier. Not that I’m going to change.

You make an entire sport off-limit to your kids because you perceive some of them are not playing by your definition of fair play? Oh, my. How old are these kids of yours, you did say "ruler?" How do you feel about your kids watching football players holding, pulling, tugging, on every play to get an advantage? You do realize that evey time they throw a flag someone has broken the spirit of fair play, right? Someone is taking it upon themselves to get an advantage that physically they otherwise wouldn't possess.

Don't misread my intentions here. I'm mostly curious how you dismiss an entire sport based on something that commonly manifests itself anytime people decide to play a game. My best guess is that you just don't like NBA basketball to begin with and all this indignation toward it gets a lot easier for you and the kids.

Where did I say I make an entire sport “off limits” to my kids? Do you know how to comprehend written statements? Geez... my girl and boy both play basketball. But I don’t turn on much NBA, especially when Hardin is playing. When I do, I show them what an actor he is.

You’re comparing a penalty during a play in any sport to Neymar flopping and rolling around like a stuck pig when he wasn’t even touched? Sorry, but I don’t get the comparison. Try again.

And yes I did misread your intentions. My bad. I see your intention as a personal shot and not adding anything to the conversation. Was I wrong in that? You can’t deny it was a personal shot, but I’m sure you’ll try. Calling me a “purest” and throwing elementary sarcasm at how and when I dicipiine my kids. That’s personal. Why do you and a couple of other guys on here get your woodies from taking personal shots? Insecurity thing, obviously. I wish people on here would talk about spirts and not make negative personal comments about other posters/Bama fans. It’s pretty immature. But I guess you just can’t help yourself. Take it out on your wife, not us. She must enjoy that, we didn’t marry you and prefer you keep it to yourself.

Seriously? Name a time Lebron has had even a SEMBLANCE of the off the field issues either of those have. That is such a weird comparison.

You know when you make a rational, coherent comment like this an "angel gets his wings."

It wasn't a crime against society, but there are questions about his gate being vandalized by a racial slur, but no video evidence, and we never heard anything else about it. It died off pretty quick making it seem like it never happened or was an inside job. In a neighborhood of that influence, one of the biggest stars in the entire world, high security is a priority, so it is kind of questionable why there is no video evidence. I don't personally care one way or the other what unfolded, but this is pretty bad to stir up the masses, the media, and pretty low of someone in his shoes if in fact it wasn't true.

LeBron James Alleges Racist Graffiti, Still Zero Evidence

You know you just linked to a Clay Travis article, right?
That's not really a fair shake, is it? Travis, known to troll, can't be categorized as "everything he says is bullshit."

I don't know if the story Lebron tells is true or not. I know I haven't seen any pictures of this graffiti and in today's time that's a shock. It's common sense to think someone would have taken a picture, right? It's a story that reads suspiciously.

Earlier you made reference to off the court behavior with Lebron. When he invoked Emmett Till's name and story I felt--and still do--it was a prime example of how out of touch he is with himself.

Oh, it's super fair. Not only is Clay Travis a professional troll (and yes I file everything he says in the bullshit category) but he has also become a race baiter in the last couple of years (who then proceeds to accuse others of being the "real" race baiters).

As far as the incident with James, I have no reason to not believe him. The police have a picture of it, I would assume its up to them to release it or not but wasn't it the media that put that incident out there first rather than Lebron just saying "hey somebody sprayed the N word on my house." Regardless seems like a pretty random thing for him to do himself and what would it benefit him? Its not like he went on for months harping on it.

Lebron has a PHD in whining and flopping but I wouldn't say his immature because of that.

Josh, this is the definition of immaturity.

Things aren't going his way so he whines about it. A child, who isn't getting his way, pitches a tantrum. Wherein lies the difference?

In that case, you would have to file 90% of the NBA players today in the immaturity category.

In no other sport will you find a 260 pound human get “knocked around” as much as you will with LeBron. LeBron is one of the absolute greatest athletes ever, but had he played in Jordan’s day he’d have had to retire because of dudes like Curry can make fling his head and arms in the air like he’s been shot imagine what Oakley, Ewing, or Hakeem would’ve done to him

Yeah, Jordan, Barkley, Ewing, Malone, Rodman, Kemp, etc. would have broken him pretty quickly. Jordan probably would have taken great delight in breaking Lebron down.

TMZ is the one that first reported it as I recall. As I remember the story the claim was the property management covered the paint.

It's a matter of public record, is it not?

Broad brush there.

If LeBron have grown up a generation earlier, don't think you think he'd be different than what he is now?

The majority of the NBA is different than what it used to be. They're soft. It isn't just LeBron.

This is true.

Broad but accurate.

Let's not forget the Bad Boys of Detroit, led by Laimbeer.

Pistons were a fun team to watch in late 80s and 90s. They were fun to watch in the 00s too.

Ben Wallace (another guy from the state of Alabama) made them fun to watch, especially when Ron Artest prior to becoming Meta World Peace opted to foul Ben that one crazy ass night before going into the stands. Artest wanted absolutely NOTHING to do with Ben....nothing. Artest was a punk.

Charles Oakley...one of my all time favorites. I was a bit of a Knicks fan in the mid 90s. I never got on the Bulls bandwagon.

I rarely watch basketball these days, usually just the playoffs and that's hit or miss over the last few years.

Lebron would have been fine in ANY era.

A guy like Curry or Clay... Coming off screens and enjoying all these freedom of movement rules on/off the ball... Would have gotten beat up.

Lebron such a specimen and such a high bball IQ I have no doubts he would have been dominant regardless of competition. Some of these other dudes are thriving in this era of finesse style wouldn't have been so lucky (not their fault, they're just making the most of the most poorly and openly crooked officiated professional league EVER)

He's not my favorite personality but he's incredible. Didn't think he could age well but his 'J' has improved consistently. Credit where it's due

He’s a generational player, but I think you’re giving him much much too much credit. LeBron flops more than any other player in the NBA, so the in any era thing is just wrong because he wouldn’t get away with flopping back in the Jordan era they would’ve killed him
